The client, a leading Indian E-commerce marketplace, wanted to build a highly personalised recommendation engine for end consumers using the data at hand which included sales, traffic, user interaction and products data

The Solution

Dew Solutions’ team developed a recommendation engine using product and user collaborative filtering. The sales and traffic data was used intelligently to assign dynamic weightage and the developed system had a feedback loop to ensure that the recommendations become highly personalised basis the interactions of a particular user with the system as well as the recommendation widgets

Technology Stack

The solution was built using Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence via User Collaborative filtering and Product Collaborative filtering. The models were trained using the raw data provided by business teams. The solution utilised Python for core programming
