Brief

ET Portfolio comprises an online Portfolio Manager that lets users add Stocks/Mutual funds/ETFs investments to get real times price updates. Besides, it provides Watchlists and Alerts to keep an eye on the investments, and helps users plan for their retirement, children, and future home.

Problem Statement

The client, a leading internet company, wanted to build a Personal Financial Management tool primarily for Indian retail investors to track investments in Stocks, Mutual funds, ETF’s, Fixed Income Products, Cash in Hand and other Assets. The client also wanted to ensure that the solution is capable of updating the portfolio based on corporate actions like splits, bonus.

Approach & Impact

The Dew team built a single-window solution; a web application that follows the financial norms making it easy for experts as well as non-experts to utilize the application. The solution lets Indian investors & NRIs list all their asset classes- stocks, mutual funds, fixed deposits, real estate, and bullions at one place and keep a close track of them; that too with real-time updates.
It allows investors to take complete control of their investment portfolio, customize their investment preferences, get immediate updates on stock prices, recent recommendations, important market announcements and price movements, and monitor their net worth on the go.
