Brief

Budbeed is an eLearning platform for grades 1 to 9 with a focus to make learning fun and easy. It allows app users to access a multilingual platform that offers comprehensive educational content for school children. Besides, the platform offers a personalized learning experience and provides users the ability to access content anytime, anywhere.

Problem Statement

Budbeed was an idea that required execution and for that was required product research, design and implementation planning. Multilingual content availability was a critical requirement by the client and the need for social integration with curriculum had also been put forward. Besides, the client required an E-reader and Web, Android, iOS apps for education.

Approach & Impact

Dew Solutions’ team evaluated the off-the-shelf solution for features as well as technical scalability and recommended building the solution from scratch since most of the available systems were limited with functionality that the client wanted to build.
The application had to have an immersive social component that seamlessly linked with course modules. Since the client did not come from a technology background, the app user journey flows were created to ensure that the functionalities were correctly identified and developed.

Technology Stack

The client wanted a technology partner in a short span and someone who is equally good in both design as well as development that too on a complex stack. Our team built the Responsive web application using Core Java, Spring, MySQL & MongoDB for backend and Angular and Vuejs for frontend development. The team also built native Android & iOS applications for the client. The iOS application was developed over Swift.
